Are there any chances that nvidia-smi will display GPU utilization? If this utilization has been added to nvidia-settings in 331.13, why not to add it to nvidia-smi? It will be much more useful for end users.
From the man page:
nvidia-smi only supports Quadro and Tesla devices. Please use other tools, such as nvidia-settings, for GeForce devices.
