I’m running the Geforce 9400 on Linux Ubuntu 18.04 with the 340-107 driver. I periodically get glitchy lines near the botton of the screen. This appears to be a know problem among Ubuntu users, but Ubuntu says since its in the Nvidia driver they won’t or can’t fix it. I’ve actually used this setup for years, and it was only in recent months that I have seen it. I don’t know what changed. So far the only workaround is to use the Nouveau driver rather than the Nvida driver, but Nouveau is not as featured as the Nvidia driver.
