GPU Requirement

Hi there, I couldn’t buy a RTX 6000 ADA GPU in my region with proper local support. The next nearest is RTX 5000 ADA.
These are the specifications. Still able to configure certain things but at a cost. Any comments will th RTX ADA 5000 works with ISAAC SIM?

Isaac Sim has specific system requirements, including GPU recommendations. For optimal performance:

GPU Requirements

  • Minimum: GeForce RTX 3070 with 8GB VRAM
  • Recommended: GeForce RTX 4080 with 16GB VRAM
  • Ideal: RTX Ada 6000 with 48GB VRAM

Additional Information

  • GPUs without RT Cores (e.g., A100, H100) are not supported
  • More VRAM is recommended for advanced usage and Isaac Lab training

Are you saying that Isaac SIM can only run on RTX6000, RTX4080, RTX3070? What about other variants in between? RTX5000, RTX4000, RTX4070?

i am just another user, and last i checked most cards with RT cores are required to run OV with 3070 being the bottom line. RTX6000, 4080, and 3070 are just a few they listed under recommendation after testing and not exclusive to SIM use.

in other words, your RTX5000 should work just fine; but depending on the sim scope, you may wish to invest in cards with more VRAM on larger environments to avoid bottlenecks.
