Hi,
I’ve tried to run composer
on a virtual machine Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu 18.04 and it crashes on startup.
Nvidia RTX 3090 is passed through directly but the graphical desktop runs on a virtual GPU - Proxmox, QXL, (SPICE).
Regular ML frameworks/CUDA and GPU compute works without issues but it seems that displaying things requres the same or phisical GPU? I have similar issue when using DeepStream 6.0.1 where I have to replace nveglglessink
with glimagesink
to be able to display anything. I suspect some opengl related issues but I can’t put my finger on it.
Is there any way to bypass this problem without running on the bare metal?
