I noticed that my GTX 970 draws ~50W at idle whenever I have dual-monitor setup (3840 x 1200). Whenever I use xrandr to disable one of them, power usage drops significantly.
Is this expected behavior?
Note that it consumes ~50W even in clean WM (awesome WM, no OGL or anything like that running).
