HDMI dispaly off once kernel boot up is completed

Hi all,

we are using jetson-tk1 board with 21.2 release source code. we are facing issue with hdmi display.

Issue is hdmi display stops once hdmi driver is loaded from kernel. when we power on the board, we get kernel boot logo and initial messages on hdmi monitor, but once hdmi driver is loaded from kernel after that there is no more boot message coming on monitor and we dont see any display on monitor even when we run some gstreamer command to display on hdmi.

during bootup, we get following kernel message and kernel logo on hdmi monitor.
no more hdmi display after hdmi driver load.

You might want to try flashing R21.4, there have been a number of significant changes since R21.2.

Is the HDMI cable known to work on other HDMI monitors? Are there any other adapters in the cabling (e.g., DVI-to-HDMI)? Have you tried other HDMI monitors?

You might need to add a repository to get package read-edid and edid-decode, providing some monitor data utilities, then see if these work:

hdmi monitor and cable is fine and verified.

also we can see linux logo and initial kernel messages on monitor during kernel start up. issue is once hdmi driver is loaded in kernel, after that there is no more messages on monitor.
