HDMI Port No Output Signals

We are currently using the Jetson Orin Nano and have developed a custom carrier board that implements an HDMI interface instead of the DisplayPort used on the Jetson evaluation board. The design was referenced from the Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit carrier board. Please find the attached schematics (HDMI Interface) for reference.

We found Nvidia’s documentation for setting up the HDMI support with customized carrier board for the software version we are using:

Using the command, I was able to flash the nano and it was able to read the hdmi signal (screenshot #1). Before the re-flash, the signal was interpreted as DP (screenshot #2). It was also able to get the resolutions that each monitor supports (screenshot #1 is when a 1080p monitor is connected, screenshot #3 is a 4k monitor). However, there is still no graphic output from the board.

At this point, we are uncertain whether the issue is related to the software driver or the hardware design. The HDMI monitor appears to be detected correctly, but no graphics content is displayed.

In parallel, we also reworked a Jetson evaluation board to switch the output from DisplayPort to HDMI. The rework details are documented in the Jetson HDMI Rework document; however, in this case, the HDMI interface was not detected at all.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just a reminder that the DP and HDMI lane 0 and 2 are reversal.

Is this still an issue to support? Any result can be shared?

The result has been resolved. Thanks for the support!
