How can I backup OS?

Hi, I’m a new guy who is using this device first time now.
It is wrapped by a box which name is AIE900-XNX from Axiomtek
The OS installed when I received this box was jetpack 4.6.2
and I felt it is too old version to run and sustain my project, so I decided to upgrade it upto JetPack 5.1.3

but my administrator is concerned about it like “what if it’s going wrong? There should at least be a way to get it back to its original state.”

so I would like to ask if it’s just okay to upgrade new version os for this device &
Is there a way to back up the current device state before upgrading?

Hi dojan789,

It seems you are using the custom carrier board for Xavier NX.

Do you have the custom BSP package of JP5.1.3 from your vendor?

You can back up the APP partition as system.img.raw in case you have something wrong during update and be afraid of something missing.
