I have the latest JetPack 6.0 Production Release installed on my Orin Nano Dev Kit. When I login, I get almost daily notifications on software updates. What is Nvidia’s recommendation on doing update/upgrade/reboot cycles? Daily, weekly, monthly? I’m concerned that these updates may eventually clash with the JetPack components and libraries.
Just my opinion, it is safe to update anything in user space, e.g., most libraries and applications. If there is a kernel update, or a boot-related update, then I would not do those without first asking in forums. It would in fact be useful to have people post any kind of kernel or boot chain update Ubuntu itself wants to perform as it might improve NVIDIA’s packaging. In the end though, most updates can be done daily.
