How to connect Nano to CAN Board?

Hey community,

We have a Jetson Nano and want to establish a connection via CAN to a voltage measurement unit. At the Jetson Nano, we apply a PICAN2 CAN-bus board (PiCAN2 CAN-Bus Board for Raspberry Pi 2-3 — SK Pang Electronics Ltd) on the 40 pin header.

Unfortunetaly, the board is not recognized:

$ ifconifg can0 is not displayed
We found a lot of (very distinctive) threads related to CAN with Jetson Nano and Linux in other communities which couldn’t really help us

Has anyone here had a similar project and maybe also faced the same challenges ?
