How to get the edid and set the HDMI output pixel in drm mode?

I want to get the edid. Does mmapi have the the interface to get the edid infomation? Dose the mmapi can display the different pixel. For example 4k or 1080

Actually the kernel node already revealed the edid of current monitor in

sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/tegradc.X/edid
