Hi,
Please find below link:
Thanks.
Thanks @AastaLLL, Ubuntu 20.04 only supports CUDA up to version 12.3. Starting from CUDA 12.4, it requires Ubuntu 22.04.
@AastaLLL After install CUDA 11.8, I found “NVIDIA CUDA: YES (ver 11.4, CUFFT CUBLAS FAST_MATH)”. Why it’s 11.4?

Hi,
It looks like CUDA is 11.8 in your environment:
...
Libraries:
- CUDA: 11.8.89
Thanks
But it’s 11.4 in python environment, why 11.4 not 11.8?
$ python3 -c "import cv2; print(cv2.getBuildInformation())"|grep CUDA
NVIDIA CUDA: YES (ver 11.4, CUFFT CUBLAS FAST_MATH)
Hi,
Does it indicate pycuda?
If yes, have you built it with CUDA 11.8?
Usually, it builds the library from the source when installing.
Thanks.
But there is no pycuda version here, which version should I use to build with 11.8, any recommendation?
I think pycuda repo is here: GitHub - inducer/pycuda: CUDA integration for Python, plus shiny features
$ python3 -c "import cv2; print(cv2.getBuildInformation())"

Hi,
Have you tried the OpenCV GPU functionality?
If it can work as expected, you may just ignore the message.
Thanks.
Thanks @AastaLLL
YES, I just found out: It’s OpenCV version issue not pyCUDA. Anyway, I have got pyCUDA upgraded.
NVIDIA CUDA: YES (ver 11.4, CUFFT CUBLAS FAST_MATH)
It comes from OpenCV.
