Is there any sample provided to detect object using Lidar point cloud data?

DW don’t have object detection based on Lidar.

are there any hardware accelerated libraries like PCL?

The DW provided functionalities are at DriveWorks SDK Reference: Point Cloud Processing . They are accelerated using GPU.
