How to put a Connectx5 into ethernet mode, the directions produce an error.

Based on the information provided, the adapter you have is an ethernet adapter by default. There is no option to change the port-type to ethernet, as the port-type is already ethernet.

So for Ethernet usage, this adapter is ready to go.
