How to use PGI fortran compiler

Hello everyone,
I am post graduate student and want to use PGI Fortran. I have also downloaded PGI Workstation 169.dmg file for MAC OSX 10.12 and followed installation instruction, but could not see PGI application to open it. Can anybody help me to locate PGI Fortran complier on mac and how to open it after installing it.

Hi Macgomes,

You should be able to double click on the PGI terminal file (search for PGI in finder if you don’t know where this is) to open a pre-configured terminal with the PGI paths set. Otherwise, you can open a terminal and follow these instructions on setting your environment.

https://www.pgroup.com/resources/docs/19.3/x86/pgi-install-guide/index.htm#install-osx-end-usr-env-settings

Hope this helps,
Mat
