How to use pin as GPIO in jetson agx orin

We are using development kit of jetson orin. We want to use 8 pins on 40 pin header. How to do that ?

We are using jetpack 6.0 and environment we setup. We are able to compile and flash image. Can you please help us out, how to do that?
