Hello,

Thanks for visiting the NVIDIA Developer Forums.
To ensure better visibility and support, I’ve moved your post to the Jetson category where it’s more appropriate

Cheers,
Tom

You may refer to TX2 Bluetooth connection problem with IOS (iphone) - Jetson & Embedded Systems / Jetson TX2 - NVIDIA Developer Forums to see if can help.

I dont see relevance to my problem. I need a wifi connection not a bluetooth connection.

Hi,
Do you use AGX Orin developer kit with AzureWave RTL8822CE Wireless Network Adapter at M.2 Key E slot? And use Jetpack 6.2.1? Would like to confirm the hardware setup and software version you are using.

The HW is a Jetson AGX Orin 32GB H01 (Seeed Studio) with JetPck 6.2.1. The Wifi HW is Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (Rev 78). I guess all oth er info is given also at my initial post.

thx for any help.

Hi,
Are the iPad and iPhone in same iOS version? Probably the issue is due to different iOS?

Hi,
yes - both IPad and IPhone have IOS 18.7 installed. Any other suggestions ?

thx

Hi,
Do you have other WIFI module for a try? Not sure but it seems like WPA3 may be a hard requirement for iPhone. And look like AC8265 does not support it per

Hi,

try this: nmcli con modify Hotspot 802-11-wireless-security.pmf disable

It’s related to a weird issue with wpa_supplicant and WPA3.

Hei,

sorry for late response, had other topics on my plate ;-)

…but, setting seems to fix the problem - now my IPhone connects to the wifi hotspot.

Many thanks for the help.

Hei again,

just to add some findiings regarding the settings, the mentioned settings works for IPhone but not for IPad. For IPad I had to set the settings to:
nmcli con modify Hotspot 802-11-wireless-security.pmf required
which hence allowed me to connect with IPhone and IPad.
