Is there have serial number in every tx2 board?

Hello,

Recently I’m just find the way to protect software, finally i need find different identify code like serial number in every board,
and I installed the tool ‘dmidecode’, and run it, but got nothing, anybode can give me some advice? thanks.

ARM system shouldn’t have “DMI” that should be the information for x86 system.

Check the serial by below command
sudo cat /proc/device-tree/serial-number

Thanks for you reply, I need a unique information for every board, so if we update firmware, Is this value of /proc/device-tree/serial-number can keep same value?

Should not change even update the BSP.
