It is posible to use Eclipse IDE directly on Jetson TK1?

I was wondering if it is posible to use the eclipse IDE (alongside with Nsight) for coding directly on the board?

Based upon this thread…

It seems that I need a host pc with ubuntu 12.04 to get things working and only by cross-compilation.

I apologize if my doubts are very basic.
