I insert my card into the SD card section of my Jetson Nano (4GB) model, but I do not see any booting or operation. What could be the reason?
Have you ever flashed the device?
Yes, but I installed virtualbox ubuntu 18.04 version. Then, I went into recovery mode, plugged in the USB, and flashed it with nvidia’s SDK manager.
Right now I’m getting the “Not enough space” error even though I haven’t downloaded anything yet. I bought a 128GB SD card. Is it possible to install it and start the system from it?
I’m a newbie
Please don’t use virtual machines.
Find a real Ubuntu PC and do this:
https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/archives/l4t-archived/l4t-3274/index.html#page/Tegra%20Linux%20Driver%20Package%20Development%20Guide/quick_start.html#
Now, I want to completely reset the Jetson Nano, install it on the SD card, and then boot from the SD card. The link you gave works for this, right?
Hi,
I think there is one point to clarify. Is your sdcard slot mounted on the module or it is on the carrier board?
or you are not sure about my question?
If this is on carrier board, then you should check with the board vendor for their BSP image.
What we provided here is only for NV developer kit carrier board which you are not using.
My general problem is this: I flashed my Jetson Nano via SDK manager and marked all the necessary software. As a result of all the processes, when I turn on the Jetson Nano, it says there is not enough space on the device. That’s why I can’t do my work. Then I saw the SD card input, but when I tried to flash it with the SD card, it did not see the SD card and still does not see it.
Yes, I know your problem and I already answered the reason why sdcard slot cannot be seen in previous comment.
Then I find a normal Ubuntu computer and continue from the link you gave. I understood correctly, didn’t I?
No, not correct. You are in wrong direction.
Please check this post…
If you still don’t understand, I can elaborate more.
I didn’t fully understand. Are you saying that when I insert my SD card into the Jetson Nano I have, the system will not start via the SD card?
I didn’t fully understand. Are you saying that when I insert my SD card into the Jetson Nano I have, the system will not start via the SD card?
Yes, because your carrier board is from 3rd party vendor. NVIDIA default software does not enable that sdcard slot.
Then I understand that I cannot do anything on this development board, is it true?
It is now back to my previous reply. You need to check with the board vendor.
Check their website if they provide some image there that enables the sdcard slot on the carrier board.
If you flash with sdkmanager provided by Dave, your board may boot but that sdcard slot is still not going to work.
So what do I do now, how do I contact them?
Please be aware that I don’t even know who and where did you buy this board from… we just start talking 20 min ago…
