Jetson Nano is not booting

Hello. I recently received my Jetson Nano Developer kit (4GB). I was following the steps on the website and formatted/flashed the SD card as required. I went to boot it up and it did not connect to my display. the green LED was on so I know it was receiving power. I tried the headless setup configuration to no success. I was powering through the barrel jack (had the jumper in place) and connected my computer to the micro USB port on the Jetson. went to check my device manager for the com port its connected to but still nothing. any suggestions as to what I should do?

I should mention that my computer runs windows and have been flashing from this computer as well.

Use an USB-To-3.3V-UART cable to connect to the debug UART on the 12 pin button/automation header.

See Table 3.4:
Pin 3: UART2_RXD
Pin 4: UART2_TXD
Pin 7,9,11: GND

This UART port does always work, even before the system is booted up.

Suggested cable:

ok. I will get my hands on this cable and would it function as it would with a headless setup configuration I assume?
I will let you know how this all goes to see if this fixes the issue.

Thank you for your advice!
