Jetson Nano sound analog stereo

Hi Sir,

I find a sound analog stereo device in Jetson nano.

How do I use this sound device?

Hello!

This sound device, by default, is for the I2S interface on the 40-pin header. There is no audio codec connected by default and so to use this interface it is necessary to connect an I2S based codec. Two off-the-shelves modules that work with Jetson Nano are the following …

Unfortunately, it appears that both of these are currently out-of-stock. You can contact the vendor and ask when they are likely to have more.

Do you need audio playback, capture or both? USB audio is also supported.

Jon

We do not need audio device yet, thanks for your reply!

Are there a list of Nano compatible off the shelf usb audio devices or is the I2S interface necessary for sound capture and output?

We don’t have a specific list of USB audio devices that work with Nano, however, I would expect that any USB audio device that supports Linux should work. You can use USB as an alternative to the I2S interface.

Jon
