NVIDIA is pleased to announce that you can order the new Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit starting today*. Additionally, we are announcing four production Jetson Orin modules available in Q4 2022:

  • Jetson AGX Orin 64GB with up to 275 TOPS AI performance in 15 to 60 W
  • Jetson AGX Orin 32GB with up to 200 TOPS AI performance in 15 to 40 W
  • Jetson Orin NX 16GB with up to 100 TOPS AI performance in 10 to 25 W
  • Jetson Orin NX 8GB with up to 70 TOPS AI performance in 10 to 20 W

The Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit includes a high-performance, power-efficient Jetson AGX Orin module, and can emulate the other Jetson Orin modules. The developer kit has the full GPU, CPU, DLA, NVENC, and NVDEC performance of Jetson AGX Orin 64GB, but with 32 GB memory.

Can you explain why dev kit costs 1100$ more? I wanted to upgrade my Xavier NX where dev kit cost was similar to module.

Can the Orin NX module be used with the Xavier NX devkit carrier board?

No – Jetson Orin NX series modules are form factor compatible with Jetson Xavier NX series modules, but not pin compatible. However, both could be supported on a carrier board designed for the I/Os that do overlap.

Do you have any plan to launch AGX Orin Developer kit with full 64GB memory?

  1. Can you please explain how this is possible? There are different core counts and performance rates for 32GB & 64GB versions.
  2. The documentation is really unclear WRT this point.

  • Jetson AGX Orin 32GB developer kit has the same clock setting as “Jetson AGX Orin 64GB”, their clock configuration can be found in “NVP Model clock configuration for Jetson AGX Orin 64GB” table in Jetson Orin NX Series and Jetson AGX Orin Series — Jetson Linux
    Developer Guide 34.1 documentation (nvidia.com)     .
  • AGX Orin 32GB clock configuration can be found in the “NVP Model clock configuration for Jetson AGX Orin 32GB” table.
  • Jetson AGX Orin 32GB developer kit can be used to emulate the other Jetson Orin modules by below configures under Linux_for_Tegra/:
    • jetson-agx-orin-devkit-as-jao-40w.conf : for AGX Orin 32GB
    • jetson-agx-orin-devkit-as-nx-16gb.conf : for AGX Orin 16GB
    • jetson-agx-orin-devkit-as-nx-8gb.conf : for AGX Orin 8GB

May I use the ‘cat /proc/meminfo’ or ‘lshw’ command to verify the ram size is 32GB/64GB on AGX Orin?
