A new hardware errata document is available for Jetson Orin NX modules, covering the following known issues:
-
Errata-1: HDMI CEC voltage specification violation due to a redundant pull-up resistor on Jetson Orin NX 16GB modules shipped before February 16, 2023. The issue was fixed in modules shipped after February 16, 2023 by removing the pull-up resistor. For CEC functionality on the updated modules, use the new Pinmux available on Jetson Download Center. No carrier board changes are needed for new modules.
-
Errata-2: A logic component is out of specification on some modules manufactured between October 2024 and May 2025, causing these modules to not support full input voltage (VDD_IN) range. This issue may impact shutdown behavior when input voltage exceeds 12V on affected systems. Check the Serial Number Lookup Page to determine if your module is impacted when operating with systems above 12V. Work with your distributor for replacement options if impacted. Updated part numbers are available for new modules providing full 5V to 20V input range. Updated part numbers-
Jetson Orin NX 16GB - 900-13767-0000-001
Jetson Orin NX 16GB (USA COO) - 900-13767-0000-0A1
Jetson Orin NX 8GB - 900-13767-0010-001 -
Errata-3: Incorrect part number was programmed on the EEPROM of select Orin NX 16GB modules manufactured between December 2024 and May 2025. There is no fit, form, function, quality, or reliability impact due to this error. Check the Errata for ranges of serial numbers that may be impacted by this issue. For customers that require the part number field in the EEPROM to be updated with the correct part number, contact your NVIDIA representative for further steps.
