Link speed of PCIE interface

Hello everyone.

I created an original carrier board for Jetson Orin Nano.
I connected a Gen4-compatible M.2 SSD to PCIE0 (Gen4,x4), but the link status is always 8GT/s.
Searching this forum, I found a mention that when the GPU is idle, PCIE is set to low speed to reduce power consumption.
Is there a way to force the carrier board I created to a 16 GT/s link at all times for hardware testing purposes?
I don’t have an application for the GPU at the moment.

Sorry for the late response.
Is this still an issue to support? Any result can be shared?

The link speed is negotiated between PCIe RP and EP. Not related to the GPU is idle or not.

Jetson Orin Nano only supports PCIe Gen3, so 8 Gbps is the max possible connection speed. Jetson Orin NX can support PCIe Gen4.
