MDI Interface Signal Routing Requirements according to Orin Nano Series Design Guide V1.3

Hello,

in table 8-2. a inter-pair-skew of 0,22mm of the MDI ethernet signal routes is recommended. Does this really mean that I have to length match e.g. MDI_0_P/N with the adjacent MDI_1_P/N within 0.22mm?
As I know there is no need to have the pair lengths balanced to each other so precisely: “The difference in propagation delay, or skew, between all duplex channel pair combinations of a link segment, under all conditions, shall not exceed 50 ns.”

Regards,
Sven

Yes, please follow DG for the skew.
