I bought two Mellanox MCX312B-XCCT CX312B ConnectX3 Pros. One for my desktop PC with Win11, the other one for my DIY NAS taht runs HexOS on Linux.
So far I only tried to install the NIC in my Windows machine and I fail miserably. I tried all sorts of different drivers and the card dosen´t even show up. I read in some other forums, that it is possible to run this NIC on WIn11. Does someone know which driver I need? I thought it´s WinOF 5.50.54000.

According to Release notes Windows 11 are not in the list of supported OS for WinOF 5.50.54000.

So no drivers for Windows 11
Well as a computers and electronics enthusiast, I regularly have success using hardware and software that is not on the list of compatibility.
I just bought the Mellanox MCX314A-BCCT Connectx-3 and I will do whatever I have to do to get this thing to run on Windows 11.
And if for whatever reason I can’t do that, then you best bet you bottom dollar that I will reinstall Windows Server because that is on the list of compatibility and then I will go through all the trials of getting gaming drivers for my GTX 1660 Super running so that I can still game.
