Hi, the mlnx_en (not the OFED) 4.9.7.1.0.0 failed to compile on the 535 release of RedHat Kernel. On 532 kernel release, - mlnx_en compiled fine

It is hit or miss whether MLNX/OFED drivers compile if the kernel is not one that is officially supported and 4.18.0-477
looks to be the latest 4.18.0
kernel.
It can help to remove every other kernel from your system as MLNX/OFED installation will fail if it cannot compile modules for every kernel on the system but from your log that is not the issue.
Try other driver releases from the Archive Versions.
Hello k0ste,
Thank you for posting your inquiry on the NVIDIA Developer Forum - Infrastructure and Networking - Section.
As ‘mwrnd’ mentioned, Our drivers are validated and tested with the default kernel which comes with the Linux Distro release, as mentioned in our MLNX_OFED/EN Release notes.
On top of that, support for ConnectX-3 is deprecated for a while now, and no plans are in the works to have this reinstated.
Thank you and regards,
~NVIDIA Networking Technical Support
