Whatever executable is, the same result is returned by the command ncu executable

ncu version: nsight-compute-2021.2.2, which is patched by patchelf to fit the system and the package may have been patched before my patch.
cuda version: 11.4.1

Sorry for the issue you met.
Can you clarify the driver/os you use?
Also how do you install the package and NCU ?
If it is bundled with the cuda, then for 11.4.1, it should be 2021.2.1.
Not sure why you get 2021.2.2.
