No Audio over HDMI on GTX 1060

On my ASUS Strix gl502vm-db71, which has an Nvidia GTX1060 in it, I get no sound over HDMI when connecting it to the TV or external monitor.

The on GPU sound card doesn’t even appear to exist…

Nope, I still have it, and nvidia doesn’t care. :)

try to desactivate your onboard audio in the BIOS .

Do you have any ACPI errors on your logs? I’m getting this which seems suspicious since it mentions HdaDsp:

Deactivating the audio card in UEFI leaves me with no audio. Nothing is listed under aplay by then.
