No devices found after, driver installation

Got a 5070ti, trying get Nvidia drivers working on Unbuntu 24.04.2 LTS.
using drivers NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-570.144. I got the drivers to load. ran nvidia-smi, and i’m getting “No devices found” . Secured boot is disabled, tried blacklisting nouveau. I reinstalled, still no luck. I’m a rookie linux user. any help is appreciated.

Try the 575 beta driver. That one works fairly well for my 5070Ti, albeit under Fedora 42. I used the run file to install,.

I am not sure about Ubuntu repos, but note that Blackwell (50xx cards) only work with the open-source architecture of the proprietary nvidia drivers. Possibly you installed the old non-open kernel module architecture. Best place to get help would be Ubuntu forums/wiki docs.
