It appears that on the download page for the 4.0 version of CUDA, there is no driver available for notebooks running windows XP. This was available in the previous version. Is WinXP - notebooks with CUDA going to be supported, or is this OS/hardware combo no longer supported? I tried emailing the website 2 weeks ago but never got a response.
The same problem for me. I tried the latest version 270.81, and have problem in installing. Solved by installing from add hardware. But when running “bandwidthTest”, a message shows:
So, another version of driver was tried out: 266.58. The same problem occured.
Same problem here. I first received the insufficient error and then reinstalled the cuda drivers and now I’m getting this error: no CUDA-capable device is detected.
Is there any way to get cuda notebook drivers for windows xp? Is there any workaround for this?
My card is:
NVIDIA Quadro 2800M
on a windows xp 64 bit laptop.
