NVIDIA Driver 440.44: Vulkan driver is not installed in Ubuntu 16.04

Hi,

It seems that I have successfully install NVIDIA Driver 440.44, but vulkan is not installed. My graphic card is GTX 1660ti, and my system is Ubuntu 16.04.

Hi,

I installed the vulkan 1.1.73, after I run the command vulkaninfo, it shows as below:

[i]Vulkan Instance Version: 1.1.73

ERROR: [Loader Message] Code 0 : libGLX_nvidia.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/build/vulkan-ZsgAIG/vulkan-1.1.73+dfsg/demos/vulkaninfo.c:3141: failed with VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED[/i]

Is there anything I can do now? And I still have some questions as below:

  1. Does nvidia driver 440 contains vulkan， do I need to install the vulkan by myself after I install the nvidia driver?
  2. Dese GTX 1660ti support vulkan? The information in the page “https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver” shows GTX 1660ti is supported.

I also have this error: ERROR: [Loader Message] Code 0 : libGLX_nvidia.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don’t know why it gives me this error. Did I wrongly install the NV driver?
