NVIDIA Driver Install 572.60 Screens Go Black and Don't Return

Downloaded and attempted install of NIVIDA driver 572.60 on Windows 11 Build 10.0.26100 Build 26100 using NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti Super board. During driver installation both monitors went black. Waited several minutes for screens to come back, the screens didn’t turn on again. Did a hard reboot to restore system. New drivers didn’t install correctly.

I couldn’t (wouldn’t) install the drivers Windows(10) complained about not beeing able to verify the publisher id

For me same on windows 11 latest update and 4080… last time was like this when updated in there new app but if I search up the driver and installed it it worked! Try that! Clean Installation was a most to!

On the 572.60 driver, 1st time do clean install, if possible, this would maybe still cause black screen, if so restart Pc then you will be in a stall with nvidia trying to install the driver before the new one, don’t try stop or pause it, just click install latest and make sure clean install. If both fail - use ddu in safe mode.

Then install latest nvidia driver

SOLUTION:
Manually download the driver and install outside of NIVIDIA App, worked ok.
