I have trouble waking up the system after suspend. I’ve tried many of the options / solutions provided to no effect.

Not sure if this helps, but I keep seeing similar messages in dmesg:

Hello @nvidia2647, welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums.
The warning message is harmless and will be fixed in a future driver release, see also this thread: UBSAN: array-index-out-of-bounds complaints in newer kernels
As for the system not waking up you might want to use sudo prime-select nvidia
to set the Laptop into performance mode, or check that nvidia-persistenced
is up and running, which might not be the case, looking at your output of nvidia-smi
@KHTeh sorry for the delay, but I am still missing information.
Does this happen on every boot?
Is it a new occurrence or did it work at some point?
Does it happen if you don’t have external monitors connected to your laptop?
First things to try are the same as what I wrote above. Then make sure you have a working Xorg configuration especially when connecting external displays.
Hi @MarkusHoHo
Happy New Year!! Thanks for the reply and suggestions. I am going to try these out shortly.
Does this happen on every boot? Only when waking up from Suspend mode. Booting works fine.
Is it a new occurrence or did it work at some point? Never worked - seems to be issue on NVIDIA and Ubuntu, purchased another ASUS laptop and it too has same resume-from-suspend issue.
Does it happen if you don’t have external monitors connected to your laptop? Happens either way.
Here is the syslog I see after booting afresh.

@nvidia2647 The questions were rather aimed at the OP, but good information in any case.
the persistence mode still seems configured incorrectly, check out the documentation please and try to (force) enable it.
Did you try prime-select
yet? Also disabling integrated graphics in the BIOS might help.
Another option would be to try a newer driver to see if tat makes a difference.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes - I did try prime-selet as the first thing, and again now.
root@awesomesystem:~# prime-select nvidia
Info: selecting the nvidia profile
Deleting /lib/modprobe.d/nvidia-runtimepm.conf
Updating the initramfs. Please wait for the operation to complete:
Done

I am reading the documentation and will try to get this working.
Isn’t this the latest driver? I’ll check that too and update.
