I’ve been working perfectly with CUDA on Ubuntu 18.04 in this System76 laptop the whole year, when suddenly CUDA stopped working yesteday. When I tried to run nvidia-smi I got the following message:
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
nvidia-bug-report.log.gz (126.2 KB)
I checked if safe boot was disabled (it was) and I also tried purging my nvidia driver and reinstalling it without success. I run nvidia-bug-report.sh and I have my nvidia-bug-report.log.gz attached.
Recently I used to laptop to flash a Jetson Xavier using SDKmanager, I dont know if that could be related.
Thanks for any helpUploading: backup-cobot.tar.gz…
