NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver - Ubuntu 18.04

Hi there.

Working on dual boot Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 with errors in ubuntu.

I have a GTX 1660Ti max-q.

My system was working just fine with cuda 10.2 but I had to downgrade it to 10.0 and now after

nvidia-smi

I get the following error:

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

When I run

lshw -C display

if get the following:

*-display UNCLAIMED

I ran

/usr/bin/nvidia-bug-report.sh

and got the results available in the attachment.

Secure boot is disabled.

What should I do to solve this?
