NVIDIA-SMI has failed in Ubuntu 18.04LTS

Hi,

I’ve been able to use GPU properly before, but when I restart my computer, I get a problem with the command NVIDIA-SMI: “NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”

I don’t know how can i fix this problem? anyone can help me? many thanks!

Don’t use the .run instaler, uninstall using the --uninstall option, then use the graphics ppa
[url]https://launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa[/url]
and install the driver using
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-415
