Nvidia-smi outputs “No devices were found” on Ubuntu 22.04 + driver 530

I had a 20.04 Ubuntu installed and the driver did not work. Now I just updated to 22.04 but it has no effect to the problem. prime-select query says I’m using nvidia, but nvidia-smi says “No devices were found”. Settings/About says I’m using “Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics (CML GT2)” (this is the other graphic card in the laptop). I have an Ideapad gaming 3 with a GeForce GTX 1650. I am attaching the nvidia-bug-report.log:

I had that same issue on Mint 21 (based on Ubuntu 22.04). I fixed it by making sure I was not using the “open” driver.

Hi Ron. Thank you for your help, but unfortunately I also tried it, but it did not help. However, a couple of weeks ago (after I updated to 22.04 plus a few weeks) my problem automatically solved when Software Updater did some updates including on some Nvidia packages. Now it works with the nvidia-driver-530-open driver.
