When creating an actor, is there any way to offset the center of mass of the actor? This being useful, for example, for preventing wheeled vehicles that jump from nose-diving.
Are you on 3.x? If so, then you can use PxRigidBody::setCMassLocalPose. If you are using a physx vehicle then you will likely need to update the sprung masses too. You can recompute the sprung masses with PxVehicleComputeSprungMasses and then reset the sprung mass in each PxVehicleSuspensionData.
If you are using 2.8 then the equivalent function is NxActor::setCMassOffsetLocalPose
Hope this helps,
Thank you! That is exactly what I needed.
