Only one monitor works with recommended driver

Dear all,

I have a similar issue as reported in Ubuntu 20.04.4 - driver fails and other reports where only one monitor worked after driver installation.

I tried several options recommended in the mentioned discussions but I am still having an empty NVIDIA X Server window.

After I changed to kernel 5.10 the output of my nvidia-smi shows the usage of the recommended nvidia-driver-515:

(I am working on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS on a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 extreme 2nd Gen set up as dual boot with windows10)

I will be grateful for any help!!!

Looks like the driver was only loaded 20 minutes after boot. Please reboot and create a new nvidia-bug-report.log.
