Orin Nano PMC reset source

We are trying to understand the PMC reset sources , and in particular interested in what VMON and VREFRO_POWERBAD points to in the reset_sources in the file

nvidia-linux-kernel/kernel/kernel-5.10/drivers/soc/tegra/pmc.c

We are interested to see if any of these sources are related to the SoM brownout.
If there are any document that explains what these all mean, that will be great as well.

Hi tsugumi,

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin Nano?
What’s your Jetpack version in use?

Sorry that we don’t share the information about VMON and VREFRO_POWERBAD. We can help until you hit any related issue.

Hello,

We are trying to conduct power brownout test on a Orin nano module hosed to a custom carrier board we designed.
This is to prevent any issues coming up in the future and we are hoping on some guidance / documentation on the reset cause related to power / brownout on the SoC.

If information for VMON / VREFRO_POWERBAD can not be shared, can we at least know if power / brownout related issue on SoC gets reported to one of the reset cause in this reset_soruce ?

You can manually trigger the software reset or hardware reset or other operation to reset the board and check the reset cause showing in serial console log in the next boot.
