Play Now Device Compatibility

Device compatibility needs to be updated. There is a serious error. Nvidia is forcing all “Tizen” operating systems to be treated as low end TVs. This is a huge huge mistake. I have the brand new Samsung flagship monitor. QD-OLED native 4k 240hz. Model is: G80SD

There is the direct Samsung link to explore the device and its capabilities.

Your Nvidia GeForce Play Now service is forcing the device to be detected as a low end tv just because the operating system is “Tizen”.

This needs to be fixed. Not all Tizen are the same as all Tizen.

My device supports 4k UHD HDR @240hz NATIVE.

Your Play Now app is limiting the frames per second to 60 no matter what resolution i choose. This is a huge problem.

You can not conduct false advertising and then discriminate all “Tizen” as the same as each “Tizen”

Otherwise you need to have a different subscription option for Tizen that costs a lot less.

Fraud.

Easy lawsuit.

I have called and called and called but as usual entry level customer service is what it is. No one ever knows or understands anything and cant figure anything out and cant handle simple functions of how to do anything.

So this is my attempt at exhausting administrative options before i file a lawsuit.

You need to deal with devices. Not operating systems. And you can not discriminate devices by some simple accross the board designation and apply it to all devices.

Other devices get compatibility updates et cetera. So lets get to it and fix this.
