Power Budget Exceeded on MCX75310AAS-NEAT Port 2

Hi, I would like to ask the power consumption limit and power class limit of the OSFP modules for Nvidia mcx75310aas-neat connectX-7 network card. Besides, can this limit be turned off by the configuring the connectX-7 network card using mlxconfig? Thanks

Hello howard.lee1,

Welcome, and thank you for posting your inquiry to the NVIDIA Developer Forums!

This limit is not configurable.

Typical power consumption and maximum supported current can be found for your adapter on the Specifications page of the ConnectX-7 user manual: https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/connectx7vpi/specifications

We strongly recommend use of NVIDIA tested and validated transceivers / cables for this product. A list of supported cables for the latest ConnectX-7 firmware version can be found here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/display/connectx7firmwarev28411000/validated+and+supported+cables+and+switches

Specifications for NVIDIA modules can be found here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/networking/interconnect/index.html#products

If you are still experiencing these warnings when using an NVIDIA-supported cable/transceiver, and you have active Enterprise support entitlement, please open a support ticket.

Best regards,
NVIDIA Enterprise Experience
