I have been experiencing suspend and resume issues with my GeForce 710 GT with driver series 470 on my Ubuntu for maybe the last two years and it has been frustrating to say the least!
I did find a workaround in this post I shared and while this helps the machine to wake up but I get all kinds of crazy visual artifacts on my Linux apps for which I have to close and re-open them to make it go away!
