Printf: where do they go?

Hello,
I am having issues collecting traces/printf from the example programs one can find in rt-aux-cpu-demo/app ( ex timer-app, or ivc-echo-task.c).
I can compile, link and flash but I cannot see the output nowhere…
Where can I find some documentation ( more detailed than the /Docs/*.md files) on what are these dbgprint, print-isr… one find in the code, what they do and how / where to retrieve/see the output. I am using a Floyd board and have tried to connect minicom terminals on all connectors without any success.
