Problem with Nvidia Jetson multimedia libraries

Good morning

I have an Nvidia AGX Xavier Dev kit.

I have just installed a completely fresh installation of Jetpack 4.4 using nvmflash.sh, i have completed the ubuntu setup and gone straight to the ubuntu desktop, opened a terminal and entered:

sudo apt update
sudo apt -y install nvidia-l4t-jetson-multimedia-api
sudo reboot

and my AGX Xavier gets stuck at bootup flashing on and off, as shown in this video:

Any ideas what is going wrong?

This package was part of a much bigger installation script, but through a process of elimination I have narrowed the issue down to this package.

I need the Jetson multimedia libraries to compile our application. I am reluctant to move up from Jetpack 4.4 as I have a tight deadline for a project and the upgrade will likely reveal issues with other things.

Hi,
Are you able to install nvidia-l4t-jetson-multimedia-api through SDKManager? Check if the issue is still present in the case.
