Does anyone here ever tried install linux on mac pro with quadro card ?
The goal is to have mac pro running dual boot : osx and linux , i want to have quadro card that can run on both OS, is it possible ?
So If i have quadro 4000 FOR MAC already running inside the macpro (with OSX), then later on, i want to install second OS which is linux (either rhel or centos) then since the card is ‘for mac’ , will linux pick this up ? or i need to switch the card to ‘non-mac’ version. Does the ‘for mac’ label mean : for mac hardware OR for mac OS ?
Another question, for a quadro installed on mac pro and running linux, is the linux driver is working perfectly just like running on non-mac hardware ?
Any idea or suggestion ?
