In the Jetson Thor Design Guide, NVIDIA recommends implementing the RPDs (pull-down) circuits on the HDMI differential lanes, as shown in the figure below, in order to be HDMI-compliant.
Could you please clarify the following points?
1. If the RPD circuits are not implemented, which specific HDMI CTS test item(s) would fail?
2. If the RPD circuits are omitted, what practical issues or limitations may occur in actual operation? For example, would this affect interoperability, link stability, hot-plug behavior, or only HDMI compliance testing?
