Hi @sdack
Could you please help to try 560 beta driver and share test results.
Hello, I have 560.28.03 installed and am using kernel 6.10.3. I have not noticed any flickering yet. I will do some more testing during the week and let you know.
Thanks for the update, shall wait for further test results.
I have not found much time this week, but so far have I not found any significant flickering when using 560 with the open-source kernel drivers. I did not try the other option. If I ever get around to it, or if there is again more flickering will I update here.
I’m having the same issue with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Just throwing my hat into the ring
I’m seeing flickering when trying to play a video in fullscreen mode with browser or mpv.
It goes away if I turn Adaptive sync option off on the system settings>display configuration (kde plasma 6.3.2 + wayland)
I have a 4090 driving an LG 27GL850 at 144Hz using close-source drivers v570.124.04

I have a similar problem with flickering screen but only when using Gnome DE.
I have the gnome DE installed on Ubuntu 25.04 on a Ryzen machine with Nvidia 5070 ti GPU. As you can see in this attached video, the
screen flickers awfully with contents appearing from a different screen! The terminal is not even on that screen! I tested this on Fedora 42 and KDE with Nvidia driver installed and couldn’t replicate it.
OS: Ubuntu 25.04
DE: Gnome 48
CPU: Ryzen 9950HX3D
Ram: 96GB
GPU: Nvidia 5070 ti GPU
Driver: NVIDIA UNIX Open Kernel Module for x86_64 570.133.07
It only happens on my external monitors. Resolution: 2560x1440@59.95Hz
Works without any issues on the laptops screen (might be because of the AMD graphics card powering the laptops screen)
